This past weekend reminded us why LmLw Radio is more than just shows it’s a cultural experience.

We kicked things off Friday night with It’s A Jazz Thing: Traditional Jazz Masters, diving deep into swing and soul that kept the groove alive straight through midnight.

On Saturday afternoon we shifted gears with PLAY music DRINK wine, bringing Funk and Blues to life while pouring Campo Arriba 2022 from Yecla, Spain. Its juicy dark fruit, spice, and velvet finish paired perfectly with the rhythm, proving once again that music and wine are two sides of the same story.

Finally, on Sunday morning, Beans & Beats delivered a 70s disco blast, full of glittering grooves and community energy, paired with Oaxaca Profundo medium roast coffee from ChocoSoul. The coffee kept our cups full while the chat lit up with love.

And when the mics went off, Dre visited the Art Gallery of Ontario for Recuerdo: Latin American Photography. This poetic exhibition spans Mexico to Argentina from the 1920s to today, celebrating both memory and storytelling. Like our shows, it reminded us that culture connects across borders and generations.
