Opening
This past Friday, May 08, we gathered once again inside Muse Bistro and Bar within the TOOR Hotel Toronto for the May edition of SIPS & SOUNDS, and the energy in the room reminded us exactly why this movement continues to grow. Guided by SOMM Melodie Grant of Grant Premium Beverages and paired with an incredible charcuterie-and-cheese experience curated by Chef Adam Kurgan, the night delivered music, wine, food, culture, and connection at a very high level. While the room was more intimate than our launch edition, the atmosphere felt electric, personal, and deeply connected, proving once again that community is not built overnight; it is built one meaningful experience at a time. From the pulse of Friday night into a hyped Jazz after DARK session on SonixFM, a heavy groove Saturday Funk session, and one of our strongest BEANS & BEATS broadcasts yet exploring Modal and Free Jazz, the momentum continues to build. And now, we look ahead toward June 12 as SIPS & SOUNDS returns with Summer in Provence, while this week pushes deeper into Jazz Noir, Acid Jazz, Nu Jazz, Jazz House, and the sounds shaping the next chapter of Love Music Love Wine Radio.

The Pulse
This past week felt like a massive week for the platform. We delivered three live broadcast sessions, each carrying its own identity and energy. JAZZ after DARK, exclusively on SonixFM Radio, was intense, elevated, and globally connected with listeners locked in from around the world. Saturday afternoon brought balance through deep 70s and 80s Funk and Soul grooves that perfectly complemented the energy coming off SIPS & SOUNDS the night before. Then Sunday morning on BEANS & BEATS, we explored Modal Jazz and Free Jazz in what became one of the strongest Jazz sessions we have delivered so far, with the energy running high from 9 AM straight through to 1 PM EST. This is no longer casual listening. The audience is listening deeper, staying longer, and becoming part of the experience itself.
