Welcome to This Week’s Groove

We are stepping into a very important week for Love Music Love Wine. After a short, well-deserved break in cottage country to relax, recharge, and reset, we returned in strong form with three fantastic broadcasts that reminded us exactly why this movement matters. On Wednesday, April 01, we returned to JAZZ Wednesdaze with a DEEP Dive into Cosmic Jazz, and it was a beautiful stream filled with spirit, space, and discovery. On Saturday, April 04, PLAY Music DRINK Wine delivered another powerful DEEP Dive, this time into Gospel Soulful Vocal House, and the energy in that session was uplifting from beginning to end. Then on Sunday, April 05, we closed the week with a final DEEP Dive into Spiritual Jazz, and it felt like the perfect ending to a week of real exploration, real intention, and real connection through music.

Now the focus shifts to something major. We are five days away from the official launch of SIPS & SOUNDS, our signature in-person event at the TOOR Hotel inside Muse Bistro. This is not just another date on the calendar. This is a real moment for Love Music Love Wine, where everything we have been building online begins to take shape in a physical room with real people, real energy, and real atmosphere. This week feels significant because it is significant. We are back, we are moving with purpose, and everything is lining up at the right time.

🚨🎧 We’re Live on SonixFM, and the Momentum Is Real

BEANS & BEATS It’s A Jazz Thing continues to grow inside its audio-only home on SonixFM. No visuals. No distractions. Just four hours plus of curated listening. Our most recent session reached between 550 and 715 live listeners, with more cycling through throughout the broadcast, and that kind of growth says a lot. It says people are finding their way back to intentional listening. It says people still want sound with purpose. It says that when the curation is real and the vibe is right, listeners stay with you.

The 1000-to-2000 consistent-listener target is no longer just a general idea. It is right there in front of us, and we are moving toward it properly, patiently, and with trust in the music. Jazz is not rushed. Growth is not rushed. Everything about this build continues to prove that when you respect the music and the audience, the momentum becomes real. SonixFM is showing us that audio-first listening still matters, and it matters deeply when the selections have soul, and the energy has meaning.

Spaces That Matter

Some spaces understand that atmosphere is not decoration; it is part of the experience. The right room changes how you sip, speak, listen, and how long you stay. These are a few places in Toronto that carry that kind of energy and deserve your time, your curiosity, and your presence. These are the kinds of spaces that make you want to stay for one more glass, one more coffee, one more conversation, and fully take in the room around you.

Go with intention. Book the table. Stay a little longer. Bring someone who understands that a great space can shift your whole mood and turn an ordinary outing into something memorable.

🍷🎶 SIPS & SOUNDS

Friday, April 10, 2026

7 PM EST

TOOR Hotel Muse Bistro Bar

We are now just days away, and if you are in Toronto or the GTA, I truly want you in the room for this. SIPS & SOUNDS officially launches on Friday, April 10, and this first edition, A Bordeaux Affair, is designed to be experienced properly. An evening inspired by the elegance and conviviality of Bordeaux, this event brings together a curated selection of wines paired with regionally inspired culinary delights, all set to soulful, jazz-inspired music from Dre, which encourages conversation, connection, and an inviting atmosphere.

This is not just another event to scroll past and maybe think about later. This is the kind of night you lock in early, send to your people, and make plans around. Come for a glass, linger for the atmosphere, and experience MUSE at your own rhythm. Bring your partner. Bring your music people. Bring your wine people. Bring the friend who keeps saying they need to get out more. Once the room fills and the music settles in, you are going to want to be there from the first pour to the last conversation. This is where the stream becomes the room, and where the digital community becomes a real presence.

❤️🎛️ Powered by Reloop

When you respect the music, precision matters. Love Music Love Wine Radio continues to be powered by Reloop gear, built for feel, torque, reliability, and the kind of long-session performance that serious selectors appreciate. Part 4 of our 10-part in-depth review of the RP 7000 MK2 drops April 22, and this next chapter is one to look forward to. The deeper I get into this series, the more there is to say about stability, responsiveness, build quality, and how this table supports long listening and performance sessions with confidence.

This review series is not surface-level content. It is real selector insight, honest use, and long-form review work that respects the culture and speaks directly to music lovers first. If you have been following the series, the next part is one to look forward to.

🖤✨ Final Sip

This week is one of those moments where everything connects in a way you can actually feel. Not just through the music, but through the movement building behind it. What started as curated sessions, late nights, early mornings, and consistent DEEP Dives is now stepping into something physical, something shared, something real. SIPS & SOUNDS is not just an event; it is the next expression of Love Music Love Wine, a space where the energy from the stream moves into a room, where the records are not just heard but experienced together, and where the community becomes something you can see, hear, and be part of in real time.

There is a difference between playing music and building culture. Playing music fills time. Building culture creates memory, connection, and meaning. That is where we are now. Every broadcast, every listener, every conversation, every share has contributed to this moment. The growth on SonixFM is real. The audience is growing with intention. The sound is getting deeper. The selections are getting sharper. And most importantly, the people who are showing up are showing up for the right reasons.

Last week proved something important. Cosmic Jazz opened the mind. Gospel Vocal House lifted the spirit. Spiritual Jazz grounded everything back into reflection. That kind of range, that kind of movement, that kind of balance is not accidental. It is built. And now this week carries that same energy forward, but with a new dimension. Friday becomes the anchor point, but the entire week holds weight. From the anticipation of SIPS & SOUNDS, to the groove of 70s Funk on Saturday, to the forward-thinking energy of Modern Contemporary Jazz on Sunday, everything is connected and moving in the same direction.

If you have been part of this from the beginning, you can feel it shifting. If you are new to the space, you are arriving at exactly the right time. This is where things start to open up. This is where the vision becomes visible. This is where Love Music Love Wine moves from something you tune into, to something you step into.

So pull up this week. Lock into the sessions. Make the reservation. Be in the room. Because what is happening right now is not just another run of shows. It is the beginning of something that will grow, expand, and leave a real mark on the city and beyond. And if you are reading this, you are already part of it.
